In 2007, I was the only playwright to be nominated in the 'Best New South African Play' category for two successive years in the Naledi Theatre Awards and the Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards, testifying both to the quantity and quality of my output.

In 2006, my play Green Man Flashing and Athol Fugard’s
Exits and Entrances were the only two plays to feature in the
Best New South African Play Produced/Best New Script Categories in both
the Naledi Theatre Awards and the Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards for the
preceding year.
